2021/22 Masters Registration

We are thrilled to welcome our returning and new masters swimmers to the Elk Valley Dolphins Swim Club 2021/2022 Swim Season!

If you are new to masters swimming, no competitive swimming experience is needed to join. However, we are not a Learn to Swim program. You should be confident in front crawl and able to swim 200 metres without stopping. It doesn't have to be pretty or fast! Our coaching team can help with both of those!

Starting September 21, 2021 we will have two 60-90 minutes sessions per week.

The sessions are:

  • Tuesdays 6:30am - 8:00am; and,
  • Fridays 6:30am - 8:00am

We hope to be able to add an evening session once the season has started.

During the regsitration process you will be able to choose which day (or both) you would like to train. Registration is first come first served, and we will notify you immediately if your choice is unavailable.

As always, masters will have to option register by season (Fall, Winter, Spring) or the whole year (10% discount)

The seasons are:

  • Fall Season - September 21 - December 17 (13 weeks - $260.00)
  • Winter Season - January 4 - March 11 (10 weeks - $200.00)
  • Spring Season - April 5 - June 17 (11 weeks - $220.00)

Because this is a youth based registration system, you will not be able to skip the Parent / Guardian Section.  Not to worry, we know you are your own guardian. we apologize for the inconvenience.

Per the order of the Provincial Health Officer any masters swimmer 22 years old or older will be required to show proof of 1 Covid-19 vaccination starting September 13, 2021. Starting October 24, 2021 masters swimmers 22 years old and older will be required to show proof of full vaccination against Covid-19.

Prior to the first session of swimming you will be given the opportunity to sign a consent form allowing you to show your vaccine passport a single time rather than before each training session.

A copy of this consent form is below for your review.

This requirement is put in place by the PHO and SwimBC, and is in no way a City of Fernie policy.
